This system eliminates the need for service aisles between each racking tier by using common entry\/exit channels through which the forklift enters and stacks the pallets in depth. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>DRIVE-IN<\/strong> system operates on the LIFO (last in, first out) or FIFO (first in, first out) principle, depending on the work organization. In FIFO logic <strong>Drive in <\/strong>systems are loaded on one side and unloaded on the other side, and in LIFO logic racks are loaded and unloaded on the same side. Its construction consists of vertical columns, sleepers and rail supports that provide stability and guide the pallets in height and depth.   For safety, guides and stoppers are used to prevent displacement or deformation during insertion.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DRIVE-IN<\/strong> systems require well-trained lifting equipment operators as manoeuvring in narrow corridors requires precision. However, the investment in such a system pays for itself through increased capacity and lower operating costs.
